Another victim.

And hooray, today we discover one of them, can’t say who, chewed up my cell phone charger’s wire. I am bereft of cell phone charger at the moment.

    Depends on the wire. All three wires they chewed are low voltage (chewed after the transformer).

Wire killers.

So far, Robber’s killed my Sennheiser earbuds and Copper’s murdered my wired Xbox controller S.

Wires, man. Wires.

Man, I hope they don’t decide to chew on a power cable. That’s how Mazinger died.*

* Mazinger was a mangy cat I had when I was a wee lad of five or six who disappeared for days till we tracked him down to the scent behind a fridge whose power was cutting in and out erratically.

    i don’t think my brain was formed enough yet, but as i recall, those cats were in bf paranaque. was mazinger the one that died behind the fridge?

    Mazinger died in Kamias. The only cats that were in Paranaque were Chiki, Skippy, and Kitty the terror kitten from hell.

    mazinger was black. was kitty the one who mangled althea and alfred, meme’s and my rabbits? i so hated that cat. the helpers threw her away in a sack and she came back even more wild-eyed than ever.

    That was Chiki, and the reason he became a barbarian is the same reason your rabbit was killed by him — the “no pets in the house” rule, even if they were recovering from being mangled by a car engine. And who takes rabbits for a walk in the backyard where even the dogs know it’s cat territory!?

D’Amore’s Pizza Connection

I love thin crust pizza. If you love thin crust pizza, particularly New England style thin crust. D’Amore’s is for you.

They import the water from Boston, the cheese from Wisconsin. Implication? The crust is thin and crispy, not thin and soggy. The cheese part — well, that takes a more discerning tongue.

I really like their parmigianas, though, eggplant and/or chicken.

My new favorite breakfast place. How can you go wrong? Fluffy pancakes and spam, yo!

The meals come in junior, regular, and king size portions. This typically breaks down to 1, 2, or 3 pancakes with 1, 2, or 3 eggs and 2, 4 or 6 pieces of meat. The meat varieties are spam, Portuguese sausage, chashiu pork, and the more mundane options which I won’t bother mentioning here.

There’s also a fried rice thing that Sun loves, which is basically a big spam-and-egg-fest with rice.

Other entrees exist, I just need to get around to trying them, but it’s hard when the point of your being there is pancakes and spam.

Not one of the best Indian places I’ve been to, but decent. The Pakoras were a bit too oily, but the naan was good and the chicken tikka masala nice. Probably best during the lunch buffet — dinner a bit overpriced for the quality of food.
