And so it is November 20.
And so it is November 20.
This day used to mean something special, you know. Something warm and happy and good. Now it’s just a reminder of what’s no longer there… and it’s not the sort of reminder you get when you think of something with a smile on your face, like when you think back on the good times in your life. It’s the sort that makes you sad. And it makes you regret. Could things have been different. Why not? Why couldn’t things have turned out for the better…? And on and on and on.
Nothing like a good wallowing.
It was an anniversary. Now? Now it’s just a day.

The Ring
Freaky film. Probably shouldn’t have seen the 10pm showing, but there ya go. The images are startling, and the story is somewhat compelling, until it sort of never tells you why things are the way they are in the film. It’s a pretty hair-raising ride, though.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Yet again, too long.
Someone really needs to edit these down. It was okay… were it shorter and cleaner, it’d be better. As it was, like the first movie, much of the movie is verbatim the book. A few cuts here and there, moreso than the first film… so perhaps the third one will work out much better. Particularly since it’s the better of the three.
