Today I got an email from Yahoo!

Today I got an email from Yahoo! telling me they were gonna start charging $30/year for POP access instead of sending me the fifty-odd SPAM daily for said service.

Is Yahoo!’s POP service worth $30/year? No. It was worth getting fifty-odd SPAM daily… barely worth it. Otherwise, it was a convenient little email service.

But now, as the web grows up and we must choose our services based on subscription fees, it’s time to be more demanding about them, too.

So. Do I Yahoo?

Nope. Not anymore….

Resident Evil

And so the game Biohazard/Resident Evil makes its debut on the silver screen… and manages to hold the same entertainment value for me as the game… startling moans and cracks, but in the end, nothing special.

Constructions.

Construction on the new garage/machine shop over at mom’s is an ongoing photo documentary project for her.

Me?

I wanna see the pictures of the old garage getting bulldozed into oblivion, but that’s gonna be later….

Saw an Indiana Jones double feature.

Saw an Indiana Jones double feature at the New Beverly Cinema in the Miracle Mile district.

It made me realize I better get a DVD import of the trilogy. Because when Lucas and friends decide to rerelease the sucker, it’s gonna be some crazy version where Indiana does not just shoot the swordsman until the big bad guy flings his sword like a throwing knife.
