Ghibli-time.

You can tell I’m going through my Studio Ghibli Collection from the DVDs I’m watching at home. A nice 6 DVD volume with 11 movies and the Chage and Aska video On Your Mark directed by Miyazake Hayao.

Still missing My Neighbors the Yamadas and Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi.

Maybe there’ll be a nice gray market two-in-one DVD to complement my current 6-disc gray market volume.

=)

Well work’s getting busy but it’s going quite well.

Well work’s getting busy but it’s going quite well.

Most of the hassles right now are the paperwork needed to refinance my car loan. It’s all about the lower interest, baybee.

The last couple of weeks I’ve been rereading my Robert Crais mysteries for bedtime reading. On my third one now… Elvis Cole. Existential Detective.

This month is actually going by a little too fast. Normally I don’t mind the speed - it means time is getting closer to the day I see Satomi again. But this month, with work being busy, I don’t think I’d mind a bit of a slowdown.

Not gonna happen, though. So oh, well.

Caught the Mark Twain PBS special by Ken Burns this week, anyone? Excellent little documentary. Lays it out for those who never took the time to read Huck Finn. I mean READ Huck Finn. Which reminds me - I think I’ll pick it up after the mystery novel, I missed reading it last year and broke my four year streak. Ought to pick it up again.
